Cheese & Crab Meat Casserole Ingredients
- 450 g/1 lb Cheddar cheese, cubed
- 8 slices bread, crusts removed, cubed
- 275 g/10o z frozen crab meat
- 5 eggs
- 600 ml/1 pt milk
- 75 g/3 oz butter, melted
Cheese & Crab Meat Casserole Recipe
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas mark 4.
Alternate layers of cheese, bread and crab meat in a casserole dish.
Whisk together the eggs, milk and melted butter, and pour over the layered mixture.
Set the casserole dish in a baking tray. Carefully fill the tray with water to come halfway up the sides. Bake the casserole in the oven for 1–1 1⁄2 hours. Serve hot
